Louise Repsold, born in Zambia in 1948, and a self taught artist, concentrates on typical South African landscapes in oil.
Over the years art collectors from England, Germany, United States, Thailand, Japan and Australia have acquired her work. Repsold is listed in the Directory of South African Painters and Sculptors and she has exhibited at numerous galleries in South Africa as well as at many well-known outdoor exhibition spaces.
'We are all created with something in each of us that resonates with the beauty of nature, and what better way to stimulate that feeling than to have an artwork on the wall, fondly reminding us of a particular time and place that created a memory.
When I work on a painting, I believe that people will see the beauty of our Creator in the artwork and be blessed.'
