Louis de Jager works in various styles, using acrylics or ink. He creates full colour abstract and pop art, pointillist landscapes in colour and black and white, as well as comic art.
De Jager had art as a subject at school until 1968 and then attended the Art, Music and Ballet school until 1970. He worked in various advertising agencies as an art director and graphic designer until 1983 when he started his own business.
He is now retired and has exhibited at various galleries and has sold his work locally as well as overseas, his comic art mostly in Australia and New Zealand. He currently belongs to the Centurion Art Association where he also presents art workshops and art classes.
