I base my art creation on a few fundamentals. Firstly the Beauty of the Human body. I believe we are all created to be beautiful. There is no one perfect body type or size, we are all perfect. Secondly I have started to focus some of my content on stereotypes, especially family stereotypes. We are taught certain ideals of family, such as family will always support you. Through my experiences I have seen that most of these "Family Ideals" does in fact not exist. It is a rare and wonderful thing when you get to meet people who are true and honest to all these so-called perfect family types. Finally I strive every day to create better and more detailed artworks.
I focus all my artistic creation on the body, thus the open background, through my use of pencil and pastel on textured paper.
I also wish to abolish all subjugation against humans, their bodies, race and gender. My art is created to depict the body, thus the pencil is a great medium to use. Detail is the centre of the work as all colour is removed.
