My name is Thandi Beauchamp, an attorney of the High Court of South Africa, Master of Laws candidate and a visual artist.
Art is a form of expression and a way of exploring my creative thoughts that enables me to bring the idea as a thought to life on paper and canvas.
We see colour daily on different objects, food and even on people. Colour brings vibrancy to life. How dull would life be without colour?
Imagine if everything was just plain or even just black and white? Life would be ridiculously boring.
I personally appreciate how we can play around with colour and have it tell a story. I see colour as waves that go up and down like the waves of the ocean when it’s high tide season. Colour allows me to express my emotions and speaks on my behalf what my mood is like depending on the colours I am wearing at that particular moment.
Bright, warm and cool colours describe me best. I’m both calm and collected, however, I do also enjoy being a seasonal extrovert.
