We are connected to our emotions, to the dreams we dream and to the quiet stories etched into our personal and collective histories. We are bound to how we see ourselves, to what we choose to express, and to how we mark our bodies as vessels of meaning and identity.
Our environment mirrors these connections—through the delicate presence of animals, plants, and the fleeting beauty of flowers. Nature doesn’t exist apart from us; it reflects us.
We respond instinctively to colour and form. A palette can stir a memory. A subject can provoke a truth. In every brushstroke, there’s an echo of something larger—a shared language that transcends borders and backgrounds.
This exhibition is a celebration of those invisible ties. A reminder that somehow, everything is connected to everything else.

Adelé Joubert is a visual artist specialising in oil painting on canvas. She lives in Ramsgate on the beautiful South Coast of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. Inspired by the beauty of everyday life, she captures fleeting moments filled with colour, depth, and emotion. Her work reflects a deep connection to symbolism, using animals and carefully chosen colour palettes to convey meaning and narrative.
Adelé is committed to artistic growth and originality, ensuring that each piece she creates is both unique and thought-provoking. Every element in her work—from subject matter to colour placement—is a deliberate choice, allowing her paintings to tell compelling visual stories.
